What does a EGN membership cost?
In Belgium, EGN offers customized programs tailored to professional roles, mixed industries, and current challenges. Since each group has its own focus and structure, the membership price varies slightly depending on which group you participate in.
Peer group or course?
Most EGN members have their membership paid for by their employer. Membership of EGN should be viewed in the same way as courses and further training. The difference between taking a course or training and becoming a member of an EGN network group lies, among other things, in the continuous development.
EGN is a competence network – not a business network. This means that the focus is on professional development, knowledge sharing and exchange of experience – not a platform for selling or creating new business.
As part of a network group, you will receive ongoing sparring and knowledge sharing from like-minded professionals. You will discuss and workshop both your own challenges and the most current topics in the market. Thanks to the careful selection of participants who are highly relevant to each other, you will have a unique opportunity to collaborate on solutions when new challenges arise. The network groups are practically oriented and help with concrete issues you encounter in your work. Both your personal and professional development are in focus, and you will feel that you have the network behind you – no matter what you are facing. Unlike courses and training programs, you don’t risk wasting time on unnecessary theory and formalities in a network group.
You also get this
The network group meets four to six times a year, sometimes in the form of full-day meetings (in some cases with overnight stays). During these meetings, members have the opportunity to exchange experiences, share knowledge, and help each other across company boundaries. The meetings are led by a network leader with relevant experience and industry knowledge. Between physical meetings, members are strongly encouraged to use each other as professional sounding boards. This can be done, for example, in Members Universe—a digital platform where you can interact with EGN’s 15,000 members across national and professional boundaries. In addition, you get access to regular local and global webinars with leading industry speakers who address the most current topics in the labor market.
