In this webinar we will be speaking with Anders Monrad Rendtorff, former global communication director of Vestas and Coloplast and co-author of the new book \u2018The Communications Advisor\u2019, which is based on a comprehensive scientific study at the University of Copenhagen 2018-2021.<\/p>\n

The book concludes that in order to be a successful communication advisor \u2013 now and in the future \u2013 an advisor must:<\/p>\n

\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Understand and be able to navigate in the business context of the organization.<\/p>\n

\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Learn how to use \u2018Occasion Management\u2019 as a process to gradually earn trust, responsibility and ultimately influence.<\/p>\n

\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Master a matrix of 9 critically important key competencies in the advisor role.<\/p>\n

This webinar is the first in a two-part series. Our first webinar will focus on Anders laying out and explaining these concepts and why they are important. In our next webinar (Q2 2023) we will be inviting a communication director to give us personal examples and insights into how all this applies in practice out in the real world. At both webinars there will be time for questions for our guests.<\/p>\n

About Anders Monrad Rendtorff<\/h2>\n

Anders Monrad Rendtorff is a communications advisor with more than 25 years of experience in some of the largest Nordic companies such as Ericsson, Telia, Coloplast and Vestas, including roles as global communication director. He is currently an associate partner at the communications consulting company RelationsPeople as well as head of communications for VL, the Danish Management Society, and a network director for EGN, Executives Global Network.<\/p>\n

Since 2016, Anders Monrad Rendtorff has been employed as an external lecturer at Copenhagen Business School at the Institute for Management, Society and Communication and he has written a range of articles and co-authored a book on research communication.<\/p>\n

In November 2022, he co-published \u2018The Communications Advisor\u2019 with associate professor, PhD, Gitte Gravengaard (University of Copenhagen) and Kristian Eiberg, CEO and partner, RelationsPeople.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
