Overskriften l\u00f8d \u201dThe art of leading with love\u201d, omtrent same overskrift som titlen p\u00e5 Ulriks seneste bog, der b\u00e6rer titlen, \u201dTHE ENERGY PATH \u2013 The art of leading with love\u201d.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Deltog du ikke i webinaret, kan du med fordel l\u00e6se med her, hvor jeg taler med Ulrik om, hvad det egentlig betyder at lede med hjertet. Hvordan h\u00e6nger k\u00e6rlighed, energier og ledelse sammen, og hvilke tanker ligger bag udtrykket \u2019hele mennesker skaber hele organisationer\u2019?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Mine egne tanker ryger umiddelbart over i, at begreberne \u2019k\u00e6rlighed\u2019 og \u2019ledelse\u2019 h\u00f8rer til i to forskellige arenaer, men der m\u00e5 klart kunne skabes noget innovativt og v\u00e6rdifuldt, hvis man kan form\u00e5 at forene de to i praksis. Jeg tager kontakt til Ulrik for at l\u00e6re mere \u2013 b\u00e5de om ham og tankerne bag.<\/p>\n<p>Jeg beder Ulrik indledningsvis om at s\u00e6tte nogle ord p\u00e5, hvem han er.<\/p>\n<p>\u201dDet er jo faktisk et af mine yndlingssp\u00f8rgsm\u00e5l.\u201d, svarer Ulrik. For if\u00f8lge ham har vi som mennesker ofte en tendens til at g\u00e5 sk\u00e6vt til det sp\u00f8rgsm\u00e5l og i stedet for at svare p\u00e5,\u00a0<em>hvem<\/em>\u00a0vi er, fort\u00e6ller vi faktisk mere om,\u00a0<em>hvad<\/em>\u00a0vi er. Vores titel, stilling, rolle og lignende bliver udgangspunktet i introduktionen af os selv, mere end hvem vi er som mennesker, helt indeni.<\/p>\n<p>Modsat l\u00e6gger Ulrik selv ud med: \u201dJeg er et holistisk menneske, jeg er et emotionelt menneske, jeg er et dr\u00f8mmende menneske, jeg er et filantropisk menneske.\u201d N\u00e5r det er sagt, er Ulrik mentor, international bestsellerforfatter og entrepren\u00f8r samt stifter af virksomheden, \u2019Unified\u00a0People\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>Ulrik har herudover uofficielt taget titlen \u2019Chief Energy Officer\u2019 til sig \u2013 en titel, der i virkeligheden omfavner essensen af hans mission, der, som han selv beskriver det, handler om: \u201dAt skabe en bevidsthed omkring, at alt h\u00e6nger sammen, alt har en afh\u00e6ngighed af hinanden og i sidste ende, n\u00e5r vi g\u00e5r ned i kvantefysikken og pr\u00f8ver at forst\u00e5 den, s\u00e5 beskriver den jo i sin simpleste form, at alt er energi.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Jeg h\u00e6fter mig ved ordet \u2019energi\u2019, som Ulrik benytter sig af. Det kan jo umiddelbart v\u00e6re et sv\u00e6rt ord at forholde sig til b\u00e5de fordi vi kender til energi i forskellige kontekster, men ogs\u00e5 fordi energi ikke er noget, man kan tage og f\u00f8le p\u00e5 \u2013 det er abstrakt og uh\u00e5ndgribeligt. I musikkens og sportens verden har vi nemmere ved at forholde os til energier, forklarer Ulrik. Han hiver fat i EM-kampene som et eksempel, der helt klart bar pr\u00e6g af en h\u00f8j grad af bevidsthed og fokus p\u00e5 energi. Men i forretningsverdenen er det en lidt anden historie, for her er det de f\u00e6rreste, som endnu er n\u00e5et til det punkt, hvor de er begyndt at forholde sig til energier. \u201dOg det er jo det, jeg bringer p\u00e5 agendaen i alle de virksomheder, jeg arbejder med. For i sidste ende handler det jo for mig ikke om hvad folk er, men mere hvem folk er, og det at arbejde med dem som mennesker\u201d, understreger Ulrik.<\/p>\n<p>Ulrik s\u00e6tter ordet p\u00e5 spidsen og pr\u00e6senterer tre separate energicirkler for mig, han selv benytter sig af.<\/p>\n<p>\u201dVi har den personlige energi, som jeg selv er ansvarlig for\u201d, siger Ulrik. \u201dJeg kan tr\u00e6ffe en beslutning om, hvad det er for en type energi, jeg \u00f8nsker at bringe ind i min dag.\u201d Den omkringliggende cirkel er den sociale, og Ulrik forts\u00e6tter: \u201dN\u00e5r vi s\u00e5 \u2019connecter\u2019, som vi to g\u00f8r nu, opst\u00e5r der en social energi mellem du og jeg. Det har et fundament skabt af min personlige energi og din personlige energi, men den sociale energi er det, der opst\u00e5r det sekund, du og jeg \u2019connecter\u2019.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Den globale energi skabes s\u00e5ledes p\u00e5 baggrund af den social energi, der opst\u00e5r mellem os. Ulrik fort\u00e6ller videre:<\/p>\n<p>\u201dOg n\u00e5r vi begynder at skabe en social energi, som er st\u00e6rkt funderet i k\u00e6rlighed, positivitet, omsorg, n\u00e6rv\u00e6r, nysgerrighed, kreativitet, anerkendelse, respekt og frem for alt tillid, s\u00e5 begynder der at opst\u00e5 noget fuldst\u00e6ndig unikt. Efter vores samtale vil du forh\u00e5bentlig v\u00e6re mere energifyldt, og det vil din omverden pludselig m\u00e6rke, hvilket betyder, at vores sociale energi begynder at blive en del af vores, hver is\u00e6r, globale energi \u2013 alts\u00e5 den, vi deler med alle andre udefrakommende.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>I min optik beskriver Ulrik en form usynlig k\u00e6de \u2013 en k\u00e6de, der starter med vores egen personlige energi, vi selv er ansvarlig for, og som herfra sammenk\u00e6des med en andens og baner vej for en f\u00e6lles social energi. Herfra skabes forbindelsen til en st\u00f8rre global energi. Energierne er alts\u00e5 betinget af hinanden.<\/p>\n<p>\u201dLige pr\u00e6cis\u201d, svarer Ulrik og tilf\u00f8jer: \u201dThe energy we share, makes us dare and care\u201d.<\/p>\n<p><strong>K\u00e6rlighed, energi, ledelse<\/strong><br \/>\nMen hvordan h\u00e6nger energi og ledelsesadf\u00e6rd sammen med at lede med k\u00e6rlighed, er mit n\u00e6ste sp\u00f8rgsm\u00e5l.<\/p>\n<p>Ulrik forlod IT-branchen og startede sin egen virksomhed, fordi han var tr\u00e6t af d\u00e5rlig ledelse. Heldigvis findes der dygtige ledere, men kigger man p\u00e5 det generelle billede over ledelse, ligger der stadig et k\u00e6mpe udviklingspotentiale, der bare venter p\u00e5 at blive frigivet, fort\u00e6ller han.<\/p>\n<p>Is\u00e6r tillid er en helt afg\u00f8rende faktor. For kigger man tilbage i historien, var der selvf\u00f8lgelig heller ingen soldat, der turde risikere sit eget liv, hvis ikke der var 100% blind tillid til h\u00e6rf\u00f8reren, understreger Ulrik, og skaber her broen mellem energier og ledelse; for hvis man leder prim\u00e6rt ud fra\u00a0hvad\u00a0man er, alts\u00e5 de stjerner, man har f\u00e5et p\u00e5 skulderen, ja, s\u00e5 \u2019connecter\u2019 man jo kun rolle til rolle. \u2019Connecter\u2019 vi menneske til menneske, s\u00e5 kan vi begynde ogs\u00e5 at lede gennem\u00a0hvem\u00a0vi er. Netop derfor er det vigtigt, at vi har hjertet med i alt, hvad vi g\u00f8r.<\/p>\n<p>\u201dVi mennesker hedder jo \u2019human\u00a0beings\u2019, men vi er jo i dag mere \u2019human\u00a0doings\u2019 eller \u2019human\u00a0becomings\u2019!\u201d, understreger Ulrik. Mange mennesker sidder fast i fortiden, eller ogs\u00e5 g\u00e5r de og venter p\u00e5 fremtiden og glemmer at v\u00e6re til stede i det nuv\u00e6rende \u00f8jeblik. Og ledelse med hjertet handler i h\u00f8jere grad om at v\u00e6re \u2019connected\u2019, at v\u00e6re n\u00e6rv\u00e6rende \u2013 det handler om at se det hele menneske. For hele mennesker skaber hele virksomheder.<\/p>\n<p>Ulrik drejer igen blikket mod kampene under EM.<\/p>\n<p>\u201dSe bare, hvad der skete der\u201d, siger han. \u201dDa den stakkels Christian Eriksen falder om, opst\u00e5r der et voldsomt empatisk \u00f8jeblik, hvor hvert enkelt individ sendte k\u00e6rlighed og ubevidst positiv energi. Samtidig har man p\u00e5 holdet haft modet til at vise s\u00e5rbarhed foran resten af holdet. De har siddet og gr\u00e6dt foran fjernsynet. Og jeg taler ikke om, at vi p\u00e5 ledelsesplan i dag skal f\u00e5 folk til at gr\u00e6de, men at turde stille sig frem og v\u00e6re mennesker! Det er den form for \u2019connectivity\u2019, det i sidste ende handler om.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Fodboldholdets pr\u00e6sentation gav os en fuldst\u00e6ndig magisk oplevelse, som er et \u2019kongeeksempel\u2019 p\u00e5, hvad k\u00e6rlighed kan g\u00f8re, mener Ulrik \u2013 og jeg kan kun v\u00e6re enig.<\/p>\n<p><strong>B\u00e6redygtighed<\/strong><br \/>\nDet interessante er jo, at vi lige nu taler s\u00e5 meget om b\u00e6redygtighed, men hvis ikke vi l\u00e6rer at v\u00e6re, kommer vi aldrig til at v\u00e6re b\u00e6rende, mener Ulrik og konstaterer:<\/p>\n<p>\u201dFor at v\u00e6re b\u00e6redygtige, skal vi l\u00e6re at v\u00e6re l\u00e6redygtige, og for at vi kan v\u00e6re l\u00e6redygtige, skal vi v\u00e6re\u00a0v\u00e6redygtige. Forskning viser, at 98% af vores adf\u00e6rd kommer fra vores underbevidsthed, og for de fleste mennesker er op imod 95% af den adf\u00e6rd ubevidst. S\u00e5 l\u00e6nge det forholder sig s\u00e5dan, vil der v\u00e6re langt til at have en bevidst b\u00e6redygtig adf\u00e6rd.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Derfor skal det starte med noget s\u00e5 fundamentalt som at forst\u00e5, hvor stor en \u2019impact\u2019 man rent faktisk har p\u00e5 sit eget liv, hvis man finder k\u00e6rligheden frem i sig selv \u2013 hvis man l\u00e6rer at lede med k\u00e6rlighed, fremfor at v\u00e6re sin egen st\u00f8rste kritiker.<\/p>\n<p>Til at st\u00f8tte sit argument, hiver Ulrik fat i et studie fra Cambridge. Her har man nemlig fundet ud af, at nogle af de karaktertr\u00e6k, der findes hos nogle af verdens dygtigste ledere, som har skabt de absolut st\u00f8rste resultater, handler om at kunne skabe en gennemg\u00e5ende f\u00f8lelse hos folk i form at f\u00f8le sig set, anerkendt og elsket i organisationen. N\u00e5r man f\u00f8ler sig tryg og nyder at v\u00e6re p\u00e5 den p\u00e5g\u00e6ldende lokation, s\u00e5 er man ogs\u00e5 langt mere opm\u00e6rksom p\u00e5 de muligheder, der opst\u00e5r. Hvis vi kan begynde at identificere os med den virksomhed, vi er i, s\u00e5 kan vi ogs\u00e5 i langt h\u00f8jere grad l\u00e6gge hjertet i det, vi g\u00f8r, understreger Ulrik. Og s\u00e5 er vi ogs\u00e5 langt mere agile.<\/p>\n<p>\u201dManglende agilitet, modstand mod forandringer, og s\u00e5 fremdeles \u2013 det er simpelthen forkert! Det er en misforst\u00e5else, det eksisterer ikke. Men en manglende evne til at kunne se sig selv i den ramme, man er i, ikke f\u00f8le sig anerkendt og fri til at kunne v\u00e6re den man er og ikke have modet eller trygheden til at sige \u201dDet her kan jeg ikke se meningen i\u201d \u2013 det er det, der g\u00f8r, at vi ser modstand mod forandringer\u201d, siger Ulrik.<\/p>\n<p>L\u00c6S OGS\u00c5: <a href=\"https:\/\/egn.com\/dk\/mental-sundhed-nu-og-i-fremtiden\/\">Mental sundhed &#8211; nu og i fremtiden<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Fra work\/life-balance\u00a0til\u00a0life-balance\u00a0<\/strong><br \/>\nDe fleste af os kender til udtrykket \u2019work\/life-balance\u2019. Et udtryk, som i ordets bogstavelige forstand henf\u00f8rer til en balance mellem to aspekter, vi kalder \u2019arbejde\u2019 og \u2019liv\u2019. Der findes et hav af artikler, som netop omkranser dette tema p\u00e5 den ene eller anden m\u00e5de, og jeg har da ogs\u00e5 selv brugt udtrykket uden videre overvejelse. Men Ulrik stiller sig kritisk overfor udtrykket. Han tager det under luppen for mig og bringer nogle interessante tanker p\u00e5 bordet, som jeg slet ikke har overvejet.<\/p>\n<p>\u201dMange mennesker siger jo \u201djeg er \u00e9n person p\u00e5 arbejdet, og jeg er en anden, n\u00e5r jeg er hjemme. \u201dHold da op, hvordan skal man v\u00e6lge?\u201d sp\u00f8rger Ulrik. \u201dPr\u00f8v at t\u00e6nke p\u00e5, hvad det kr\u00e6ver af energi at have to roller hver eneste dag fremfor bare at v\u00e6re.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Ulrik vender tilbage til det k\u00e6mpe udviklingspotentiale, vi har i os som mennesker \u2013 \u201dexperimentation\u00a0beyond\u00a0imagination\u201d, som Ulriks kollega, Laust Lauridsen kalder det, er et udtryk, der handler om at r\u00e6kke ud over vores fantasi for netop at opdage det potentiale, der ulmer i os som mennesker. Men det handler om en fundamental transformation, som kr\u00e6ver nogle helt andre rammer.<\/p>\n<p>\u201dOg det starter med erkendelsen af, at, ja, vi har i mange \u00e5rtier sagt \u201dDon\u2019t\u00a0mix\u00a0feelings, emotions, and business.\u00a0They\u00a0don\u2019t\u00a0belong\u00a0together\u201d, siger Ulrik og forts\u00e6tter: \u201dMen\u00a0work\/life-balance er en fuldkommen misforst\u00e5else. Det er life-balance! Vi skal ikke dele op mellem privat og erhverv, n\u00e5r det hele jo h\u00e6nger sammen. Det er i stedet \u2019balance the flow of\u00a0life\u2019, vi skal forholde os til nu\u201d, konkluderer Ulrik.<\/p>\n<p>Det g\u00e5r op for mig, at i brugen af udtrykket \u2019work\/life-balance\u2019 sp\u00e6nder vi jo netop ben for os selv ved at lave en grov opdeling mellem to aspekter af livet, der i virkeligheden helt naturligt h\u00e6nger sammen. Vi separerer liv og arbejde som om, at arbejde ikke rent faktisk er en del af livet \u2013 men hvor er det i virkeligheden mange af os bruger de fleste af vores v\u00e5gne timer i l\u00f8bet af en uge? P\u00e5 arbejdet.<\/p>\n<p>Man kan jo undre sig over, hvorfor flere ikke taler om det p\u00e5 den m\u00e5de. For med det udgangspunkt fodrer man jo egentlig kun id\u00e9en om to forskellige arenaer, hvor vi skal agere to forskellige personer; den vi er, n\u00e5r vi er p\u00e5 arbejdspladsen, og den vi er udenfor. Som de fleste nok kan nikke genkendende til, s\u00e5 er det jo ikke altid nemt bare at smide tingene ud af hovedet, n\u00e5r man forlader arbejdspladsen &#8211; om man vil det eller ej, kan man somme tider komme til at tage \u201dbagagen\u201d fra arbejdsdagen med hjem, positivt s\u00e5vel som negativt. Og det i sig selv vidner netop om, at ens job un\u00e6gteligt er en integreret del af livet som helhed.<\/p>\n<p>Men det er lidt som om, at \u00e5relange forventninger til, hvordan vi skal agere, g\u00e5r igen i generationer og forsat lagres p\u00e5 den menneskelige harddisk. Forventninger, der netop afspejler id\u00e9en om, at \u201dfeelings and business don\u2019t mix\u201d \u2013 men vi skal l\u00e6re at tillade hjertet og det emotionelle felt, mener Ulrik. Og vi skal blive mere bevidst om de energier, der florerer mellem os og binder os sammen.
