Og med en flig af positive forh\u00e5bninger for fremtiden og tal i regnskabet, der ikke n\u00f8dvendigvis lyser skrigende r\u00f8dt l\u00e6ngere, tegner det ligeledes ogs\u00e5 godt for de mange mennesker, der i m\u00e5nedernes l\u00f8b har m\u00e5tte sige farvel til deres job som f\u00f8lge af corona-virussens h\u00e6rgen \u2013 for det betyder nemlig, at virksomhederne nu i st\u00f8rre grad forsigtigt begynder at turde \u00e5bne portene igen for nye talenter.<\/p>\n<p>Nogle har m\u00e5ske kurs mod nye udfordringer inden for det samme arbejdsomr\u00e5de, som de kommer fra, mens andre m\u00e5ske ser deres snit til at s\u00f8ge anderledes gr\u00e6sgange. Uanset hvad man \u00f8nsker, er det ingen hemmelighed, at de f\u00f8rste m\u00e5neder p\u00e5 en helt ny arbejdsplads kr\u00e6ver en afg\u00f8rende indsats \u2013 b\u00e5de fra virksomhedens side, men i s\u00e6rdeleshed ogs\u00e5 fra ens egen.<\/p>\n<p>Men hvad er det i virkeligheden, du som helt ny p\u00e5 arbejdspladsen skal g\u00f8re for at skabe den bedst mulige start for dig selv \u2013 til trods for denne tvivlr\u00e5dige og usikre periode, der efterh\u00e5nden er g\u00e5et hen og blevet vores nye normal?<\/p>\n<p>First impressions last, er i hvert fald godt at have in mente som dit udgangspunkt. Og som n\u00e6vnt, er det de f\u00f8rste m\u00e5neder, mere pr\u00e6cist tre m\u00e5neder, der er tommelfingerregel for l\u00e6ngden af din s\u00e5kaldte pr\u00f8veperiode. Og i denne periode sp\u00e6nder dine opgaver ekstra bredt. Du skal l\u00e6re arbejdspladsen at kende, og den skal l\u00e6re dig at kende. Der skal to til tango, og uden en indsats fra begge sider, n\u00e5r I aldrig langt.<\/p>\n<p>P\u00e5 dette tidspunkt er din rolle samtidig ogs\u00e5 todelt. Med et nyt job handler pr\u00f8veperioden naturligvis om, at du skal bevise din evne for konkret jobvaretagelse. Ikke desto mindre er det i liges\u00e5 h\u00f8j grad ogs\u00e5 i denne periode, du skal indvie arbejdspladsen i dine personlige sider. For det er dig som helhed, og ikke kun i din professionelle rolle, der med tiden bliver indsluset i den organisationskultur, der omkranser arbejdspladsen. Derfor skal du ogs\u00e5 selv overveje, hvad du vil udlevere om dig selv \u2013 hvilke omr\u00e5der af dit privatliv, du \u00f8nsker at fort\u00e6lle, om du \u00f8nsker at dele dine politiske overbevisninger og s\u00e5 videre og s\u00e5 videre. Hvad du v\u00e6lger at dele, har naturligvis meget at g\u00f8re med, hvilken type person, du er, men ogs\u00e5, hvilken form for virksomhed, du befinder dig i \u2013 det handler i sin enkelthed om, at du m\u00e5 udfolde antennerne og f\u00f8le dig frem.<\/p>\n<p><em>&#8220;Krise\u00e5ret&#8221;<\/em><br \/>\nN\u00e5r alt dette er sagt, m\u00e5 vi huske, at vi ogs\u00e5 befinder os i et sensitivt \u00e5r, som har v\u00e6ret pr\u00e6get af markante forandringer og usikkerheder, der uundg\u00e5eligt tvinger virksomheder til at revurdere vante situationer og processer \u2013 og hvad ang\u00e5r nye ans\u00e6ttelser er ingen undtagelse. For mange virksomheder er m\u00e6rket af krisen. Ikke kun p\u00e5 oms\u00e6tning og tal. De har m\u00e5tte sige farvel til kollegaer. Ikke n\u00f8dvendigvis af egen fri vilje, men grundet de \u00f8konomiske byrder, der pludseligt er opst\u00e5et. Arbejdspladsen kan alts\u00e5 v\u00e6re pr\u00e6get af stor ubalance i dynamikkerne; de ansatte arbejder i langt h\u00f8jere grad hjemmefra og meget af kommunikationen til kollegaerne foreg\u00e5r via skrift eller gennem virtuelle kanaler. Kontakten er med andre ord begr\u00e6nset og p\u00e5 mange m\u00e5der kompromitteret.<\/p>\n<p>Dette g\u00f8r naturligvis ogs\u00e5 ans\u00e6ttelsen af en ny medarbejder meget anderledes \u2013 for hvis samfundets restriktioner forts\u00e6tter med at forstyrre forholdene p\u00e5 arbejdspladserne, og den fysiske kontakt mellem virksomhedens folk begr\u00e6nses, er det klart, at det som ny kan v\u00e6re sv\u00e6rt at finde fodf\u00e6ste i en ny virksomhed. Det kan is\u00e6r v\u00e6re ekstra sv\u00e6rt at komme ind p\u00e5 livet af virksomhedskulturen, n\u00e5r selv de eksisterende medarbejdere k\u00e6mper med n\u00e6b og kl\u00f8r for at holde liv i den fra hjemmekontoret.<\/p>\n<p>S\u00e5 hvad er egentlig det bedste, du som ny kan g\u00f8re for at skabe den bedst mulige start for dig selv?<\/p>\n<p>Her f\u00e5r du nogle gode r\u00e5d, der forh\u00e5bentlig kan hj\u00e6lpe dig p\u00e5 vej som ny medarbejder.<\/p>\n<p><strong>De uskrevne regler<br \/>\n<\/strong>Som ny i virksomheden handler det om at agere trov\u00e6rdigt samtidig med, at du skal fors\u00f8ge at tilpasse dig rammerne. Du skal med andre ord s\u00e5 vidt muligt v\u00e6re dig selv \u2013 med m\u00e5de. Det lyder ikke s\u00e5 ligetil, og det er det som s\u00e5dan heller ikke, specielt, hvis du arbejder hjemmefra og ikke har kollegaerne ved din side hver dag. Men det er vigtigt, at du t\u00e6nker over dine handlinger og ord, for alt det, du foretager dig, kan v\u00e6re med til enten at skabe tillid eller afstand mellem dig og virksomheden i den f\u00f8rste periode. Den virksomhed, du nu er en del af, har allerede en etableret kultur og et regels\u00e6t, ogs\u00e5 selvom tingene foreg\u00e5r p\u00e5 en lidt anderledes m\u00e5de nu \u2013 derfor b\u00f8r du, trods alt, starte med at bev\u00e6ge dig langsomt frem og fornemme stilen og fremgangsm\u00e5derne blandt dine kollegaer. Dette kan jo netop godt v\u00e6re en udfordring, hvis du arbejder fra hjemmet og kun har f\u00e6lles kontakt med dine kollegaer til morgenm\u00f8det over Teams, men ikke desto mindre g\u00e6lder reglen stadig \u2013 det handler stadig om at tr\u00e6de varsomt i den f\u00f8rste periode, mens du lige ser det hele an.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Afstem forventninger, og stil sp\u00f8rgsm\u00e5l<br \/>\n<\/strong>Forventninger kan v\u00e6re roden til konflikter og misforst\u00e5elser \u2013 hvis de ikke afstemmes p\u00e5 forh\u00e5nd, vel at m\u00e6rke. Det er vigtigt at huske p\u00e5, at en del af det at l\u00e6re hinanden at kende, b\u00e5de fra arbejdspladsens og fra din side, er at f\u00e5 sat ord p\u00e5, hvad man har af forventninger helt fra starten \u2013 b\u00e5de til arbejdet og til hinanden. Og det skal naturligvis ogs\u00e5 gerne g\u00f8res l\u00f8bende.<\/p>\n<p>Forventningsafstemningen handler netop om at stille sp\u00f8rgsm\u00e5l og blive klogere \u2013 og stil hellere end gerne alle de sp\u00f8rgsm\u00e5l, du har brug for. P\u00e5 den m\u00e5de suger du ogs\u00e5 en masse viden til dig omkring kulturen, vanerne og fremgangsm\u00e5derne og finder ud af, hvad der er realistisk at forvente. Mange beslutninger og processer kan jo hvile p\u00e5 tidligere erfaringer, politikker eller sammenh\u00e6nge, du ikke kender til eller forst\u00e5r endnu \u2013 og netop derfor skal du huske at v\u00e6re lydh\u00f8r og stille sp\u00f8rgsm\u00e5l. N\u00e5r du deltager aktivt i samtalerne, vil du ogs\u00e5 etablere en hel naturlig tillid til dine kollegaer og f\u00e5r h\u00f8jst sandsynligt bedre mulighed for at f\u00e5 st\u00f8rre indvirkning p\u00e5 dit team og dine arbejdsopgaver. Netop i disse tider, hvor du m\u00e5ske kan risikere at skulle sidde alene mange timer i l\u00f8bet af en arbejdsuge, er det is\u00e6r ekstra vigtigt, at du husker at tage kontakt og ikke er bange for at stille sp\u00f8rgsm\u00e5l, n\u00e5r du bliver det mindste i tvivl, s\u00e5 ikke I risikere at g\u00e5 helt sk\u00e6vt af hinanden fra start &#8211; ogs\u00e5 selvom, det m\u00e5ske kun kan foreg\u00e5 gennem de virtuelle kanaler.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sociale relationer og netv\u00e6rk<br \/>\n<\/strong>De fleste af os kan nok blive enige om, at arbejdsdagene bare bliver sjovere med gode kollegaer ved vores side. Og oftest er dem, der kommer bedst fra start ogs\u00e5 dem, der investerer tid og energi p\u00e5 at l\u00e6re kollegaerne at kende. Desv\u00e6rre er det netop ogs\u00e5 det omr\u00e5de, der kan v\u00e6re allersv\u00e6rest at tage h\u00e5nd om lige nu, og dermed ogs\u00e5 en af de st\u00f8rste udfordringer i forbindelse med nye ans\u00e6ttelser ude i virksomhederne. Derfor skal b\u00e5de du og dine nye kollegaer v\u00e6re ekstra gode til at tage kontakt i l\u00f8bet af dagen \u2013 ogs\u00e5 selvom det kun kan foreg\u00e5 virtuelt, og, m\u00e5ske vigtigst, ikke kun, n\u00e5r det g\u00e6lder arbejdsrelaterede emner. Det er ikke kun dit ansvar, men ogs\u00e5 dine kollegaers at prioritere den sociale sm\u00e5snak, selv hvis den skal planl\u00e6gges \u2013 for hvis I eksempelvis kun har to dage sammen p\u00e5 kontoret i l\u00f8bet af en uge, er det vigtigt ogs\u00e5 at finde alternative veje og m\u00e5der til at pleje de kollegiale relationer, n\u00e5r I ikke kan m\u00f8des i fysisk forstand.<\/p>\n<p>Det kan v\u00e6re de sm\u00e5 ting som at aftale en daglig snak over Teams, n\u00e5r I normalt ville have taget en 5 minutters pause p\u00e5 kontoret. Sp\u00f8rg ind til dine kollegaer, del dine oplevelser i l\u00f8bet af dagen, og se, om I ikke kan finde jeres helt egen stil at \u201dv\u00e6re sammen\u201d p\u00e5 i l\u00f8bet af en arbejdsdag, uden rent faktisk at v\u00e6re det. Relationsprocessen ville un\u00e6gtelig g\u00e5 hurtigere under normale forhold, ingen tvivl om det, men ikke desto mindre, er der stadig gode muligheder for at skabe et godt, solidt kollegialt grundlag p\u00e5 din nye arbejdsplads \u2013 hvis alle arbejder for det.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Din rolle<br \/>\n<\/strong>En stor del af ens arbejdsgl\u00e6de handler om at kunne finde mening i det, man laver. Og den mening kan ofte komme fra f\u00f8lelsen af, at man udfolder og udvikler sine kompetencer. Derfor b\u00f8r du fra start have fokus p\u00e5, hvor du kan give dit bidrag til virksomheden, og hvor dine faglige kompetencer matcher virksomhedens krav og muligheder. N\u00e5r ens kontakt til ledere, kollegaer og andre n\u00f8glepersoner er begr\u00e6nset, kan man dog nemt komme til at blive fanget i sine egne tanker og blive usikker p\u00e5 sig selv og sin pr\u00e6station, fordi man ikke har nogle at sparre med og f\u00e5 feedback fra ved sin side.<\/p>\n<p>Men det er vigtigt, at du fors\u00f8ger at tage kontrol over tankemylderet \u2013 der er en grund til, at du er blevet ansat i den stilling, du er; du var den bedste kandidat til jobbet. Derfor skal du huske p\u00e5, at virksomhedens situation er anderledes og det samme g\u00e6lder arbejdsforholdene, hvilket naturligt ogs\u00e5 kan p\u00e5virke, hvor hurtigt, du falder til i virksomheden. Men det er okay, for det \u00e6ndrer ikke p\u00e5, at du er den rette til jobbet \u2013 ogs\u00e5 selvom du kan blive overv\u00e6ldet, usikker og forvirret i disse tider.
