About the webinar

Learn how to create a robust healing work environment to prevent the mental and physical health risks associated with moments of crisis.

Join the EGN Global live Webinar on February 23 at 09:00-10:00 AM CET and Araceli Camargo, Cognitive Neuroscientist and co-founder of the Centric Lab.

There is an individualized narrative to mental and physical resilience in times of crisis, which leads to multiple health inequities in the workplace. Therefore, it is important that workplace wellness takes an ecological approach.

Meaning that we consider how the physical work environment, culture, and the lived experiences of workers contributes to health. This talk will look at the biology of the stress response, its health consequences, and presents methods for creating a work environment rooted in wellness.

Agenda:

We will cover the following:

  1. What is the stress response and how it relates to moments of crisis
  2. How do we create a work environment that is rooted in wellness rather than crisis
  3. We will then move from the communal to the individual and look at cognitive frameworks and skills (cognitive flexibility) that change our perception of crisis.

We point out that only EGN members subsequently have access to the webinar materials: recording and associated hand-outs.
