Maria Skjærven is EGN’s go-to expert on Artificial Intelligence because of her unique blend of deep technical knowledge and practical business experience. With a background in IT leadership and a passion for making AI accessible, Maria helps unlock the full potential of AI technologies to drive innovation, productivity, and strategic advantage.

Her hands-on approach, combined with extensive experience in coaching and education, ensures that members receive relevant, actionable insights – helping them navigate the rapidly evolving AI landscape with confidence and clarity.

Maria worked with IT her entire life, she programmed her first chatbot at age 12. She holds a cand.merc.DAT from CBS and worked 14 years as a web developer at TDC, later as development and IT manager until 2023. She created podcasts and videos on AI and has taken courses at DTU. In March 2023, she founded Futurescouts to teach new AI tools and spark important conversations about using technology to build a better future.
