About the speakers

John is a retired Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Special Agent with 25 years of federal law enforcement experience. Throughout his FBI career, John investigated organized crime, terrorism, white collar crime, cybercrime, and violent crime. He brings world-class expertise in intelligence, law enforcement, and regional security strategy. After his retirement, John worked as a security and law enforcement consultant for numerous multinational companies, and is currently the Chairman of the ASIS International, Thailand Chapter. As a Board of Director and Strategic Advisor at Lares Risk Management International, he provides expert guidance on regional and global security, risk management, intelligence, and law enforcement collaboration. Beyond corporate security, John advises on drug and alcohol abuse and other risks affecting young people at international schools across Asia.

Andreas is a recognized leader with extensive international experience in security and risk management. He has delivered tailored solutions across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia managing operations from physical security and risk assessment to crisis management and executive protection. Adept at leading diverse teams and overseeing substantial budgets, Andreas balances robust security measures with operational flexibility to drive both safety and business success.

Certified as a Business Continuity Manager (CBCI), ISO 31000 Risk Management Professional (CRMP), and Anti-Terrorism Specialist (CATS), he exemplifies forward-thinking leadership in complex environments.
